The Fein MultiMaster FMM 250Q TopFein MultiMaster FMM 250Q Top lives up to the advertized claims. I have used the tool for both sawing and for fine sanding projects. Cutting some ventilation holes in the attic was quick and easy without having to create a starter hole using a separate tool. Fine sanding window frames for restaining was a breeze! Doing this by hand (and I have) is not only tedious, but very time consuming and frustrating when you can not get into the seams and corners. The MultiMaster was had no problems; and the velcro like attachment of the sandpaper makes tool set-up so simple. The only drawbaks are: price, weight and noise. You should definately wear hearing protection when using the tool. The weight is can easily tire you on a long job where the tool is used overhead; however, it is proper for allowing the tool to do the work when sanding. The price of course is very high. It is definately worth the price if you have many projects where the tool works best (cutting into pannels or baseboard & detail sanding for example).
