I am a remodeling contractor who like most debated buying this tool for quite some time. Now that I have purchased it and used it for about three months I have a few observations.. Like everyone I agree the case is junk for the reasons listed in other reviews, the blades are exspensive agreed use them carefully, The cord length like 10+ ' is great , variable speed function is great. All in all a well thought out and heavy duty tool. You will not believe once you get this and realize what it will do what a time saver this thing is just incredible. If you are a contractor get it you wont regret it. I will end on this scenario. Lets say you are working on a house with Hardisiding, the homeowner needs a light installed on the exterior you need a trim block cut into the siding install the carbide round wheel and cut right through the hardi siding no pulling and reinstalling of siding.
