I've been wanting a MultiMaster since I saw one at the local Lumber yard. But, I was put off by the price. I thought to myself, "It can't be *that* good to warrant such a high price"!
Yesterday, I gave in and purchased one. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when I took it out of its packaging. It is hefty! You'll be using two hands while operating it.
This is an extremely high quality, German manufactured tool. This is what accounts for the price - Quality and the devaluation of the US Dollar. The Company isn't out to take advantage of us. German made products simply cost more in the US.
I also purchased about $500.00 in accessories. If you are considering purchasing this great tool, be prepared to spend at least an equal amount for blades, Sandpaper, and other attachments.
This was definitely one of my better tool purchases.
